When are Homer Simpson and his group of friends going away from Springfield and your favorite primetime network series, The Simpsons? It’s tough to imagine this popular humor can be canceled anytime soon. The Simpsons have become among the longest-running primetime shows in America. There are many reasons why the long-running sitcom has lasted for over 20 years. For starters, most people have been watching this series because it’s funny, entertaining and most importantly, The Simpsons has a bunch of great actors among its core cast.

He is the Homer Simpson that people love to hate. Homer is continually getting into trouble and he just does not know how to make things right again. One of his buddies, Selma, tries to help him out but Homer just does not want to listen. He doesn’t really want to apologize for his behavior but Selma just wants to get things back to normal and work things out.

Selma is just another of the characters which produce the television show, The Simpsons, very unique. She is the girl Homer admires and she is also the wife of Homer. Selma also happens to be Homer’s best friend.

The third main character of The Simpsons is Homer’s officemate, Selma. She is the wife of Homer and the mother of his three children, Bart, Lisa, and Marge. Selma is a valuable part of Homer’s life since she’s the reason he decided to quit his job in the first place, after having a fight with a co-worker over something she did. Eventually, Homer comes to realize that Selma should step in and be a better friend to Homer.

The relationships which are featured in the television series The Simpsons are especially well done considering that the Simpson family has such dysfunctional societal dynamics. It can be seen throughout the series that Homer is continually trying to win over his own female family members but with Selma being the mother figure in the family she ends up having to put in the job to do this.

The most obvious relationship that features from the TV series The Simpsons is that between Homer and Marge. Homer starts off working with Marge on a case and the two become fast friends. However, in an episode entitled Treehouse of horror’s Homer becomes bitter and starts to refuse Marge in every way. In the seventh season episode, Bart Simpson ends up going on a mission with some of his friends and ends up burning his friend, Marge, to death.

Marge was Homer’s best friend when he was a child and she’s been by his side ever since. In the first season episode, Bart Simpson went on a treasure quest with Marge but when they got lost Marge asked Homer for assistance and he went to search for her in the state of Alaska where Marge said that she was seeing Bart all of this time. This caused Homer to get depressed and he proceeded to punch a hole in the car of Marge’s best friend, Mrs. Patty. In the seventh season episode Homer fell from a tree and suffered severe spinal injuries but thanks to the efforts of a local woman who saw Homer at the hospital, Homer was able to walk again.

The most popular supporting character in the television shows The Simpsons is none other than Homer Simpson himself.

He has become one of the most popular characters on the show with children and adults alike.
