Kate Ashley Meets The Simpsons

When are Homer Simpson and his group of buddies going from Springfield and your favorite primetime network series, The Simpsons? It’s tough to even imagine this popular humor can be canceled anytime soon. The Simpsons have become among those longest-running primetime shows in America. There are a number of reasons why the long-running sitcom has lasted for over 20 years. For starters, people have always been watching this series as it’s funny, entertaining and most of all, The Simpsons has a bunch of great celebrities among its core cast.

The funny thing is, he is not exactly what anyone would describe as being the wisest of individuals. Homer is constantly getting into trouble and he just does not know how to make things right again. One of his buddies, Selma, tries to help him out but Homer just doesn’t want to listen. He doesn’t really want to apologize for his behaviour but Selma just wants to get things back to normal and work things out.

Selma is just another of the characters which make the tv show, The Simpsons, very unique. She is the woman Homer admires and she is also the wife of Homer. Together they have three children called Lisa, Bart, and Marge. Selma also happens to be Homer’s best friend.

The third main part of The Simpsons is Homer’s officemate, Selma. Selma is a valuable part of Homer’s life since she is the reason he decided to quit his job in the first place, after having a fight with a co-worker over something she did. Finally, Homer comes to realize Selma needs to step in and become a better friend to Homer.

The relationships which are featured in the television series The Simpsons are especially well done considering the Simpson family has such dysfunctional societal dynamics. Homer’s relationship with Selma is especially interesting because they love each other but Homer does not admit to her that he loves her. It can be found throughout the series that Homer is continually trying to win over his own female family members but with Selma being the mother figure in the household she always ends up having to put in the work to do this.

The most obvious relationship that features in the TV series The Simpsons is that between Homer and Marge. Homer begins working with Marge on a case and the two become fast friends. However, in an episode entitled Treehouse of horror’s Homer becomes bitter and begins to refuse Marge in every way. At the seventh season episode, Bart Simpson ends up going on a mission with a number of his friends and ends up burning his friend, Marge, to death.

Marge was Homer’s best friend when he was a kid and she’s been by his side ever since. In the first season episode, Bart Simpson went on a treasure quest with Marge but when they got lost Marge asked Homer for assistance and he went to look for her in the state of Alaska where Marge stated that she was seeing Bart all of this time. This caused Homer to get depressed and he proceeded to punch a hole in the car of Marge’s best friend, Mrs. Patty. In the seventh season episode Homer fell out of a tree and suffered severe spinal injuries but due to the efforts of a local woman who saw Homer at the hospital, Homer was able to walk again.

The most popular supporting character in the television shows The Simpsons is none other than Homer Simpson himself.

He has become one of the most popular characters on the series with children and grownups alike. A lot of people have mentioned how good it is to see The Simpsons because they allow you to feel what it is like to be a kid again and relive some of the classic childhood memories. The Simpsons have had many special guest stars over the years including celebrities that have appeared on the screen before like Dan Aykroyd, John Belushi, and Steve Martin.
