When are Homer Simpson and his group of buddies going away from Springfield and your favorite primetime network series, The Simpsons? It’s tough to imagine this popular humor can be canceled anytime soon. The Simpsons have become one of those longest-running primetime shows in America. There are many reasons why the long-running sitcom has lasted for over 20 years. For starters, people have always been watching this series as it is funny, entertaining and most of all, The Simpsons has a bunch of great celebrities among its core cast.
He’s the Homer Simpson that people love to hate. Homer is continually getting into trouble and that he just does not know how to make things right again. One of his buddies, Selma, tries to help him out but Homer simply doesn’t want to listen. It can be seen throughout the series that Homer is constantly trying to win over his own female family members but with Selma being the mother figure in the household she always ends up having to put in the job to get this done.
The most obvious relationship that features from the TV show The Simpsons is that between Homer and Marge. Homer begins working with Marge on a situation and the two become fast friends. Nevertheless, in an episode entitled Treehouse of horror’s Homer becomes bitter and begins to deny Marge whatsoever. In the seventh season episode, Bart Simpson ends up going on a mission with some of his friends and ends up burning his friend, Marge, to death.
Marge was Homer’s best friend when he was a kid and she has been by his side ever since. In the first season episode, Bart Simpson went on a treasure quest with Marge but when they got lost Marge asked Homer for help and he went to look for her in the state of Alaska where Marge stated that she was seeing Bart all of this time. This caused Homer to get sad and he proceeded to punch a hole in the car of Marge’s best friend, Mrs. Patty. At the seventh season episode Homer fell from a tree and suffered severe spinal injuries but thanks to the efforts of a local woman who saw Homer at the hospital, Homer was able to walk again.

A lot of individuals have mentioned how great it is to see The Simpsons because they allow you to feel what it is like to be a child again and relive some of the traditional childhood memories.
