When are Homer Simpson and his group of friends going away from Springfield and your favorite primetime network series, The Simpsons? It’s tough to even imagine this popular comedy can be canceled anytime soon. The Simpsons have become one of those longest-running primetime shows in America. There are many reasons why the long-running sitcom has lasted for over 20 years. For starters, people have been watching this series because it is amusing, entertaining and most importantly, The Simpsons has a bunch of great actors among its core cast.

 

The funny thing is, he isn’t exactly what anyone would describe as being the wisest of individuals. Homer is constantly getting into trouble and that he just does not know how to make things right again. One of his buddies, Selma, tries to help him out but Homer just does not want to listen. He doesn’t really want to apologize for his behavior but Selma just wants to get things back to normal and work things out.

 

Selma is another of the characters that make the tv show, The Simpsons, very special. She is the girl Homer admires and she’s also the wife of Homer. Together they have three children called Lisa, Bart, and Marge. Selma also appears to be Homer’s best friend.

 

The third main character of The Simpsons is Homer’s officemate, Selma. She’s the wife of Homer and the mother of his three children, Bart, Lisa, and Marge. Selma is a valuable part of Homer’s life because she’s the reason he decided to quit his job in the first place, after having a fight with a co-worker over something she did. Eventually, Homer comes to realize that Selma needs to step in and be a better friend to Homer.

 

The relationships that are featured in the television series The Simpsons are especially well done considering the Simpson family has such dysfunctional societal dynamics. It can be found throughout the show that Homer is continually trying to win over his own female family members but with Selma being the mother figure in the family she always ends up having to put in the work to get this done.

 

The most obvious relationship that features in the TV series The Simpsons is that between Homer and Marge. Homer begins working with Marge on a case and the two become fast friends. However, in an episode entitled Treehouse of horror’s Homer becomes bitter and starts to deny Marge in every way. In the seventh season episode, Bart Simpson ends up going on a mission with a number of his friends and ends up burning his friend, Marge, to death.

 

Marge was Homer’s best friend when he was a child and she has been by his side ever since. In the first season episode, Bart Simpson went on a treasure quest with Marge but when they got lost Marge asked Homer for assistance and he went to look for her in the state of Alaska where Marge said that she had been seeing Bart all of the time. This induced Homer to get depressed and he proceeded to punch a hole in the automobile of Marge’s best friend, Mrs. Patty. In the seventh season episode Homer fell out of a tree and suffered severe spinal injuries but due to the efforts of a local woman who watched Homer at the hospital, Homer was able to walk again.

 

He’s become one of the most popular characters on the show with children and grownups alike. Many individuals have mentioned how great it is to see The Simpsons because they allow you to feel what it’s like to be a kid again and relive some of the traditional childhood memories. The Simpsons also have had many special guest celebrities over the years including celebrities that have appeared on the screen before like Dan Aykroyd, John Belushi, and Steve Martin.
