When are Homer Simpson and his group of buddies going from Springfield and your favorite primetime network series, The Simpsons? It’s hard to even imagine this popular comedy can be canceled anytime soon. The Simpsons have become among the longest-running primetime shows in America. There are a number of reasons why the long-running sitcom has lasted for more than 20 years. For starters, people have been watching this series as it is funny, entertaining and most importantly, The Simpsons has a bunch of great celebrities among its core cast.

The funny thing is, he isn’t exactly what anyone would describe as being the wisest of individuals. Homer is constantly getting into trouble and he just does not know how to make things right again. One of his buddies, Selma, tries to help him out but Homer simply doesn’t want to listen. He doesn’t really need to apologize for his behavior but Selma just wants to get things back to normal and work things out.

Selma is just another of the characters that make the television series, The Simpsons, very special. She’s the woman Homer admires and she is also the wife of Homer. Together they have three children called Lisa, Bart, and Marge. Selma also happens to be Homer’s best friend.

The third principal part of The Simpsons is Homer’s officemate, Selma. She is the wife of Homer and the mother of his three children, Bart, Lisa, and Marge. Selma is an important part of Homer’s life because she is the reason he decided to quit his job in the first place, after having a fight with a co-worker over something she did. Finally, Homer comes to realize Selma should step in and become a better friend to Homer.

The relationships which are featured in the television series The Simpsons are especially well done considering the Simpson family has such dysfunctional interpersonal dynamics. It can be seen throughout the show that Homer is constantly trying to win over his own female family members but with Selma being the mother figure in the household she ends up having to put in the work to do this.

The most obvious relationship that features from the TV series The Simpsons is that between Homer and Marge. Homer starts off working with Marge on a situation and the two become fast friends. However, in an episode entitled Treehouse of horror’s Homer becomes bitter and starts to deny Marge in every way.

Marge was Homer’s best friend when he was a child and she has been by his side ever since. In the first season episode, Bart Simpson went on a treasure quest with Marge but when they got lost Marge asked Homer for help and he went to search for her in the state of Alaska where Marge stated that she was seeing Bart all of this time. This caused Homer to get depressed and he proceeded to punch a hole at the car of Marge’s best friend, Mrs. Patty. In the seventh season episode Homer fell out of a tree and suffered severe spinal injuries but due to the efforts of a local woman who watched Homer in the hospital, Homer was able to walk again.

He’s become one of the most popular characters on the series with kids and adults alike. Many people have mentioned how good it is to watch The Simpsons since they allow you to feel what it’s like to be a child again and relive some of the traditional childhood memories. The Simpsons have had many special guest stars over the years including celebrities that have appeared on the screen before like Dan Aykroyd, John Belushi, and Steve Martin.
