The Simpsons Season 29 Couch Gag

When are Homer Simpson and his gang of friends going away from Springfield and your favorite primetime network series, The Simpsons? It’s tough to imagine this popular humor can be canceled anytime soon. The Simpsons have become one of the longest-running primetime shows in America. There are a number of reasons why the long-running sitcom has lasted for more than 20 years. For starters, most people have been watching this series because it is funny, entertaining and most of all, The Simpsons has a lot of great actors among its core cast.

Homer is the main protagonist of the show. Homer is constantly getting into trouble and he just does not know how to make things right again. One of his friends, Selma, tries to help him out but Homer just doesn’t want to listen. He doesn’t really want to apologize for his behavior but Selma just wants to get things back to normal and work things out.

Selma is just another of the characters that make the television show, The Simpsons, very special. She is the girl Homer admires and she’s also the wife of Homer. Selma also happens to be Homer’s best friend.

The third main character of The Simpsons is Homer’s officemate, Selma. She is the wife of Homer and the mother of his three children, Bart, Lisa, and Marge. Selma is an important part of Homer’s life because she’s the reason he decided to quit his job in the first place, after having a fight with a co-worker over something she did. Eventually, Homer comes to realize that Selma should step in and be a better friend to Homer.

The relationships that are featured in the television show The Simpsons are especially well done considering the Simpson family has such dysfunctional societal dynamics. Homer’s relationship with Selma is especially interesting because they both love each other but Homer does not admit to her that he loves her. It can be found throughout the show that Homer is constantly trying to win over his own female family members but with Selma being the mother figure in the family she ends up having to put in the work to do this.

The most obvious relationship that features from the TV show The Simpsons is that between Homer and Marge. Homer starts off working with Marge on a case and the two become fast friends. However, in an episode entitled Treehouse of horror’s Homer becomes bitter and begins to deny Marge whatsoever. At the seventh season episode, Bart Simpson ends up going on a mission with a number of his friends and ends up burning his friend, Marge, to death.

Marge was Homer’s best friend when he was a kid and she has been by his side ever since. In the first season episode, Bart Simpson went on a treasure quest with Marge but when they got lost Marge asked Homer for help and he went to look for her in the state of Alaska where Marge stated that she was seeing Bart all of the time. This induced Homer to get sad and he proceeded to punch a hole at the automobile of Marge’s best friend, Mrs. Patty. In the seventh season episode Homer fell from a tree and suffered severe spinal injuries but thanks to the efforts of a local woman who saw Homer in the hospital, Homer was able to walk again.

He’s become one of the most popular characters on the show with kids and grownups alike. A lot of individuals have mentioned how good it is to watch The Simpsons since they permit you to feel what it’s like to be a child again and relive some of the classic childhood memories.
