When are Homer Simpson and his gang of buddies going from Springfield and your favorite primetime network series, The Simpsons? It’s hard to even imagine this popular humor can be canceled anytime soon. The Simpsons have become among the longest-running primetime shows in America. There are many reasons why the long-running sitcom has lasted for over 20 years. For starters, most people have always been watching this series as it’s funny, entertaining and most importantly, The Simpsons has a lot of great actors among its core cast.
Homer is continually getting into trouble and that he just does not know how to make things right again. One of his friends, Selma, tries to help him out but Homer just does not want to listen. He doesn’t really need to apologize for his behaviour but Selma just wants to get things back to normal and work things out.
Selma is just another of the characters which produce the tv show, The Simpsons, very special. She’s the woman Homer admires and she’s also the wife of Homer. Together they have three children called Lisa, Bart, and Marge. Selma also happens to be Homer’s best friend.
The third main part of The Simpsons is Homer’s officemate, Selma. Selma is an important part of Homer’s life because she is the reason that he decided to quit his job in the first place, after having a fight with a co-worker over something she did. Eventually, Homer comes to realize that Selma should step in and be a better friend to Homer.
The relationships which are featured in the television series The Simpsons are especially well done considering that the Simpson family has such dysfunctional interpersonal dynamics. It can be found throughout the series that Homer is constantly trying to win over his own female family members but with Selma being the mother figure in the family she always ends up having to put in the job to get this done.
The most obvious relationship that features from the TV series The Simpsons is that between Homer and Marge. Homer begins working with Marge on a situation and the two become fast friends. Nevertheless, in an episode entitled Treehouse of horror’s Homer becomes bitter and starts to deny Marge in every way. In the seventh season episode, Bart Simpson ends up going on a mission with some of his friends and ends up burning his friend, Marge, to death.
Marge was Homer’s best friend when he was a kid and she has been by his side ever since. In the first season episode, Bart Simpson went on a treasure quest with Marge but when they got lost Marge asked Homer for help and he went to search for her in the state of Alaska where Marge stated that she had been seeing Bart all of this time. This caused Homer to get depressed and he proceeded to punch a hole at the automobile of Marge’s best friend, Mrs. Patty. In the seventh season episode Homer fell from a tree and suffered severe spinal injuries but due to the efforts of a local girl who saw Homer at the hospital, Homer was able to walk again.
He has become one of the most popular characters on the series with children and adults alike. A lot of people have mentioned how good it is to watch The Simpsons since they allow you to feel what it is like to be a kid again and relive some of the traditional childhood memories. The Simpsons also have had many special guest stars over the years including celebrities that have appeared on the screen before like Dan Aykroyd, John Belushi, and Steve Martin.
