For starters, most people have been watching this series as it is amusing, entertaining and most importantly, The Simpsons has a bunch of great celebrities among its core cast.

Homer is the main protagonist of the series. The funny thing is, he isn’t exactly what anyone would describe as being the wisest of individuals. Homer is constantly getting into trouble and that he just does not know how to make things right again. One of his friends, Selma, tries to help him out but Homer simply doesn’t want to listen. He doesn’t really need to apologize for his behavior but Selma just wants to get things back to normal and work things out.

Selma is another of the characters which make the tv show, The Simpsons, very special. She’s the woman Homer admires and she’s also the wife of Homer. Together they have three children called Lisa, Bart, and Marge. Selma also happens to be Homer’s best friend.

The third main part of The Simpsons is Homer’s officemate, Selma. Selma is an important part of Homer’s life since she’s the reason he decided to quit his job in the first place, after having a fight with a co-worker over something she did. Eventually, Homer comes to realize Selma needs to step in and be a better friend to Homer.

The relationships that are featured in the television show The Simpsons are especially well done considering the Simpson family has such dysfunctional interpersonal dynamics. Homer’s relationship with Selma is particularly interesting because they both love each other but Homer does not admit to her that he loves her. It can be seen throughout the series that Homer is continually trying to win over his own female family members but with Selma being the mother figure in the family she always ends up having to put in the job to do this.

The most obvious relationship that features in the TV series The Simpsons is that between Homer and Marge. Homer begins working with Marge on a case and the two become fast friends. However, in an episode entitled Treehouse of horror’s Homer becomes bitter and begins to refuse Marge in every way.

Marge was Homer’s best friend when he was a child and she has been by his side ever since. In the first season episode, Bart Simpson went on a treasure quest with Marge but when they got lost Marge asked Homer for assistance and he went to look for her in the state of Alaska where Marge stated that she had been seeing Bart all of the time. This caused Homer to get depressed and he proceeded to punch a hole at the automobile of Marge’s best friend, Mrs. Patty. In the seventh season episode Homer fell out of a tree and suffered severe spinal injuries but due to the efforts of a local woman who saw Homer in the hospital, Homer was able to walk again.

The most popular supporting character in the television shows The Simpsons is none other than Homer Simpson himself.

He has become one of the most popular characters on the show with kids and grownups alike.
