When are Homer Simpson and his gang of buddies going away from Springfield and your favorite primetime network series, The Simpsons? It’s hard to imagine this popular comedy can be canceled anytime soon. The Simpsons have become one of those longest-running primetime shows in America. There are a number of reasons why the long-running sitcom has lasted for over 20 years. For starters, people have always been watching this series as it’s funny, entertaining and most importantly, The Simpsons has a bunch of great actors among its core cast.

Homer is continually getting into trouble and that he just does not know how to make things right again. One of his friends, Selma, tries to help him out but Homer simply doesn’t want to listen. He doesn’t really want to apologize for his behavior but Selma just wants to get things back to normal and work things out.

Selma is just another of the characters that make the television show, The Simpsons, very special. She’s the girl Homer admires and she’s also the wife of Homer. Selma also appears to be Homer’s best friend.

The third main part of The Simpsons is Homer’s officemate, Selma. Selma is a valuable part of Homer’s life since she is the reason that he decided to quit his job in the first place, after having a fight with a co-worker over something she did. Finally, Homer comes to realize Selma should step in and become a better friend to Homer.

The relationships which are featured in the television show The Simpsons are especially well done considering the Simpson family has such dysfunctional societal dynamics. It can be found throughout the show that Homer is constantly trying to win over his own female family members but with Selma being the mother figure in the household she always ends up having to put in the job to get this done.

The most obvious relationship that features in the TV show The Simpsons is that between Homer and Marge. Homer starts off working with Marge on a situation and the two become fast friends. Nevertheless, in an episode entitled Treehouse of horror’s Homer becomes bitter and starts to deny Marge in every way.

Marge was Homer’s best friend when he was a kid and she’s been by his side ever since. In the first season episode, Bart Simpson went on a treasure quest with Marge but when they got lost Marge asked Homer for assistance and he went to search for her in the state of Alaska where Marge stated that she had been seeing Bart all of the time. This induced Homer to get depressed and he proceeded to punch a hole in the automobile of Marge’s best friend, Mrs. Patty. In the seventh season episode Homer fell out of a tree and suffered severe spinal injuries but due to the efforts of a local girl who saw Homer in the hospital, Homer was able to walk again.

The most popular supporting character in the television shows The Simpsons is none other than Homer Simpson himself.

He’s become one of the most popular characters on the show with kids and grownups alike. A lot of people have mentioned how great it is to watch The Simpsons because they allow you to feel what it’s like to be a kid again and relive some of the classic childhood memories.
