When are Homer Simpson and his gang of friends going from Springfield and your favorite primetime network series, The Simpsons? It’s tough to imagine this popular humor can be canceled anytime soon. The Simpsons have become among the longest-running primetime shows in America. There are many reasons why the long-running sitcom has lasted for over 20 years. For starters, people have always been watching this series because it’s amusing, entertaining and most of all, The Simpsons has a lot of great actors among its core cast.

 

Homer is the main protagonist of the series. Homer is constantly getting into trouble and that he just does not know how to make things right again. One of his friends, Selma, tries to help him out but Homer just does not want to listen. He doesn’t really need to apologize for his behaviour but Selma just wants to get things back to normal and work things out.

 

Selma is just another of the characters which produce the tv series, The Simpsons, very unique. She’s the girl Homer admires and she is also the wife of Homer. Together they have three children called Lisa, Bart, and Marge. Selma also happens to be Homer’s best friend.

 

The third main part of The Simpsons is Homer’s officemate, Selma. She’s the wife of Homer and the mother of his three children, Bart, Lisa, and Marge. Selma is a valuable part of Homer’s life because she is the reason he decided to quit his job in the first place, after having a fight with a co-worker over something she did. Eventually, Homer comes to realize Selma needs to step in and become a better friend to Homer.

 

The relationships which are featured in the television series The Simpsons are especially well done considering the Simpson family has such dysfunctional interpersonal dynamics. It can be seen throughout the series that Homer is constantly trying to win over his own female family members but with Selma being the mother figure in the family she ends up having to put in the work to do this.

 

The most obvious relationship that features in the TV show The Simpsons is that between Homer and Marge. Homer begins working with Marge on a situation and the two become fast friends. However, in an episode entitled Treehouse of horror’s Homer becomes bitter and starts to deny Marge in every way. At the seventh season episode, Bart Simpson ends up going on a mission with a number of his friends and ends up burning his friend, Marge, to death.

 

Marge was Homer’s best friend when he was a child and she’s been by his side ever since. In the first season episode, Bart Simpson went on a treasure quest with Marge but when they got lost Marge asked Homer for assistance and he went to look for her in the state of Alaska where Marge said that she was seeing Bart all of the time. This caused Homer to get sad and he proceeded to punch a hole at the automobile of Marge’s best friend, Mrs. Patty. In the seventh season episode Homer fell out of a tree and suffered severe spinal injuries but due to the efforts of a local girl who watched Homer in the hospital, Homer was able to walk again.

 

He’s become one of the most popular characters on the show with kids and grownups alike. Many individuals have mentioned how good it is to watch The Simpsons because they permit you to feel what it’s like to be a kid again and relive some of the classic childhood memories. The Simpsons have had several special guest celebrities over the years including celebrities who have appeared on the screen before like Dan Aykroyd, John Belushi, and Steve Martin.
